CROCKPOT MARGARITA CHICKEN DIP

 


This margarita inspired chicken dip is a 10/10! It’s inspired by the yummy flavors of a margarita! And don’t worry, if you’re not a fan of tequila! You can most certainly just leave it out! 

Ingredients:
  • 12 oz softened cream cheese cut into cubes 
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded & cooked chicken (a rotisserie chicken also works great for this)
  • 2 1/2 cups Monterey Jack cheese shredded
  • 3 tbsp of your favorite tequila (you can leave it out if you’re not a tequila fan)
  • 1/4 cup lime juice + 1/2 tbsp lime zest 
  • 2 tbsp orange juice 
  • Fresh or store bought pico de gallo 
  • Tortilla chips, Fritos, or whatever else you’d like for serving! 
  • Optional: You can also add in 1 seeded & diced jalapeƱo 
Directions:
  1. In your crockpot add in cream cheese, shredded chicken, cheese, spices, tequila, lime juice & orange juice 
  2. Cook on high for an hour, stirring occasionally so the bottom doesn’t burn 
  3. Once it’s done, top it with pico de gallo and enjoy! 
  4. Note: I served mine right out of the crockpot so it would stay nice and warm!
