FROZEN COTTON CANDY MARGARITAS

If you’re looking for a fun and colorful cocktail to make this summer for gatherings this will be perfect! I know what you’re thinking… “how sweet is this?”… let me just say its no sweeter than a classic margarita! It’s the perfect amount of sweet from the soda/cotton candy and sour from the fresh lime juice! It tastes like a classic margarita, but with hints of yummy cotton candy! If pink isn’t your color, you can certainly use any other cotton candy such as blue, orange, green or purple! This recipe makes 3 cocktails!

Ingredients:

• 3 cups ice cubes 
• 1 cup of your favorite tequila! 
• 3/4 cup fresh squeezed lime juice (and yes I strongly recommend sticking with fresh squeezed juice)
• Sliced lemon & lime for garnish 
• 8 oz cream soda 
• 1/3 triple sec 
• 1 package of cotton candy (that gets blended in) plus a small container divided to garnish drinks 
• Margarita salt for rim 

Directions:

1. In your blender add in ice, lime juice, tequila, triple sec and cream soda. Blend it until combined 
2. Add in your cotton candy and blend until smooth & combined 
3. Rim your glasses with a slice of lime and dip them in your margarita salt 
4. Pour in your cotton candy margaritas and garnish each glass with a slice of lemon & lime 
5. Right before serving garnish with a chunk of cotton candy & enjoy!
