EASY CINNAMON ROLLS
I love making these because they only require a few ingredients, most of which you probably have already on hand! The best part is they only take 30 minutes! These are perfect the next day as well, just simply warm them up in the toaster or microwave! Store them in an airtight container!
Ingredients:
For the Cinnamon Rolls:
- 1 (12 pack) King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls
- 2/3 cup softened butter
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
For the Glaze:
- 4 oz softened cream cheese (the softer, the better! You can evenly make it slightly melty in the microwave so there’s no lumps when combining it with the other ingredients)
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Slice your Hawaiian rolls in half & set aside
- In a bowl combine butter, brown sugar & cinnamon
- Spread a spoonful of your mixture evenly into the bottom of your baking dish
- Add in the bottom half of your rolls
- Spread a generous layer of butter cinnamon mixture in the middle & place the top halves of your rolls on
- Spread the remaining mixture on top of your rolls. Be sure to get in all the cracks and on the sides the best you can.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, let cool a bit
- For your glaze, combine in a bowl powdered sugar, cream cheese & heavy cream; whisk well! NOTE: if you prefer cinnamon rolls that are lightly glazed cut the glaze ingredients down by half
- Pour over top of your cinnamon rolls, slice them up and enjoy!
- Serve this with all of your other favorite breakfast treats such as eggs, bacon, sausage or fresh fruit!
