CINNAMON SUGAR EASTER BUNNY TWISTS

 


These are the cutest treats to make & only require a handful of ingredients! These are also so much fun to make with kids! These can be made year round too and not just for Easter! 


Ingredients:
  • 1 box (17.3 oz; 2 sheets) puff pastry 
  • 4 tbsp melted butter (salted)
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon 
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar 
  • White frosting 
Directions:
  1. Thaw out puff pastry (it should still be cold when working with it; I left mine in the fridge over night to thaw)
  2. Unfold both puff pastry sheets
  3. Brush both of them with your melted butter
  4. In a small bowl, mix together your cinnamon & sugar 
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture on one puff pastry sheet 
  6. Place the other sheet butter side down on top of the cinnamon sugar 
  7. Seal up the two side edges with a fork
  8. Pick slice up your puff pastry strips 
  9. Pick up each strip and twist it to make a “bunny”, press it flat 
  10. Place your bunnies on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake at 400 for 17 min or until golden & puffy! 
  11. Once completely cooled, make a bunny tail with your frosting & enjoy!
