CHEESY CHICKEN PESTO SLIDERS
These are one of my favorite combinations! So when I was in high school, we had a sandwich station and I would always order a chicken, pesto & mozzarella panini! This was my favorite thing so I recreated it but made it on sliders instead! These are perfect to have during the busy weeknight or to make for a crowd!
Ingredients:
- 12 count original Hawaiian rolls
- 1 rotisserie chicken (shredded)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 2/3 cup of basil pesto (store bought or homemade both work!)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Slice your Hawaiian rolls in half
- Spray your baking dish with nonstick spray and place your rolls in; remove the top half of the rolls
- Spread on your pesto sauce to your bottom rolls and top with shredded chicken and mozzarella
- Spread your remaining pesto on the top half of your rolls and lay them on top
- In a small bowl combine your butter, parsley, onion & garlic powder and parmesan cheese
- Spread your garlic butter mixture on top of your rolls, cover with foil & bake at 375 for 10-15 min
- Remove foil and bake for another 5-10 min or until the cheese is melted!
- Slice them up & enjoy!
