BAKED PRETZEL CRUSTED CHICKEN
Who doesn’t love baked chicken? It’s easy & so delicious and can be served alongside so many things! It’s the perfect meal for a busy weeknight too! This baked chicken is crusted with crushed pretzel snaps! If you love chicken this recipe is a must try!
Ingredients:
- 4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts or a large pack of chicken breast tenderloins (pounded to 1/2” thick)
- 3 1/2 cups pretzel snaps (crushed in a chopper or food processor)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs plus 1 tbsp water
Directions:
- In your first bowl add in your crushed pretzels
- In your second bowl add your eggs and water and whisk together
- In your third bowl add your flour and spices and mix together
- Dip your pieces of chicken in your flour, egg and then your crushed pretzels and place them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauces and side dishes such as veggies, Mac n cheese or roasted potatoes!
