WHITE CHICKEN SKILLET LASAGNA


White Chicken Skillet Lasagna!
 Okay so this just might be the ultimate comfort food! I love how creamy and cheesy this is! You can most certainly add broccoli, spinach or your favorite veggies in this! This is something the whole family will enjoy & love. You can serve this with a side salad or homemade garlic bread! 

Ingredients:
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups low sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tsp dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning 
  • 12 uncooked lasagna noodles (broken)
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: You can also add your favorite veggie into this!
Directions:
  1. Add your oil to your pan & add your chicken breasts
  2. Cook for 5 min or until one side is browned
  3. Flip over and add in your chicken broth, salt & pepper
  4. Cover & cook on medium low heat for 15 min or until chicken is cooked through 
  5. Remove chicken from pan & place aside on cutting board before shredding
  6. In your pan with your chicken broth add in your heavy whipping cream, garlic & onion powder, parsley flakes & Italian seasoning; stir well to combine 
  7. Break up your lasagna noodles and add them into your pan
  8. Cover and cook on low for 15 min or until they’re tender! Note: stir them occasionally to cook evenly
  9. Once noodles are cooked add in your ricotta cheese, shredded chicken & Parmesan cheese, stir well
  10. Top with shredded mozzarella and garnish with more parsley flakes
  11. Cover and simmer on low until the mozzarella is melted
  12. Serve with garlic bread or a side salad & enjoy!
