CHOPPED CHEESEBURGER BISCUITS
These chopped cheeseburger biscuits are a super easy weeknight dinner to put together last minute for your family! The best part is you can add whatever toppings you like to them!
Ingredients:
- 1 can (8 count) Pillsbury biscuits
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar jack blend cheese or sliced American
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- Montreal steak seasoning (as much or as little as you’d like)
- Nonstick cooking spray
- Optional: other burger toppings such as bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, etc!
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Spray your dish with nonstick spray
- Take your biscuits out of the can and slice them all in half
- Place half of your biscuits into the bottom of your greased baking dish
- Bake for 10-12 min or until the biscuits are golden brown
- While biscuits are cooking, in a pan sauté your chopped onion with a bit of oil until soft; add in your ground beef and your Montreal steak seasoning
- Make sure you chop up your ground beef and onion while cooking to really incorporate all the seasoning/flavors
- Take your bottom biscuits out of the oven and add your ground beef over top and evenly spread your cheese on
- Place the other halves of your uncooked biscuits on top and bake for another 20-25 min or until the top biscuits are cooked and golden!
- Serve as is or after baking add the rest of your favorite hamburger toppings!
