VALENTINE’S DAY CRACK
This Valentine’s Day Crack is the perfect sweet treat for you and your significant other to enjoy this Valentine’s Day or to serve at your Galentine’s Day party! It’s made up of classic saltine crackers, homemade toffee, chocolate & sprinkles! The best part is you can really customize this by changing out the colored chocolate and adding festive sprinkles!
Ingredients:
- 48 saltine crackers (or you can use Ritz crackers or graham crackers)
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar “packed”
- 1 12 oz bag of tollhouse white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup pink candy melts
- Festive sprinkles
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Lay out your saltines on a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside
- In a sauce pan add your butter and brown sugar and bring to a boil. Boil for 3-5 min or until your sugar is dissolved and butter is completed melted
- Bake in the oven for 3-5 min or until the sugar mixture begins to bubble
- Remove from oven and sprinkle your white chocolate chips evenly across the top
- Wait for them to become melty and using a spatula spread out the melted chocolate evenly
- Top with festive sprinkles (or whatever else you’d like)
- Transfer the pan to the fridge and let set
- When ready to serve break into pieces and enjoy!
- Note: you can store this in an airtight container or in the fridge
